Some facts about Ryan are:
-It all started way back in 1986 in Brooks Alta. He contracted a random tapping disorder called C.O.N.E. It ran him out of that town, relocating to Edmonton.

There he found his first gig, The Corb Lund Band, which is still very alive and kicking. Since touring the States, he has decided to deal with this horrible afflicting disorder (C.O.N.E.) by becoming a spokesperson for the masses. So far, he has learned how to live in harmony with the C.O.N.E.

-He listens to tons of Jazz and other crazy shit. During off time, he likes to play hockey, golf and PlayStation. Also he likes to drink booze sometimes lol.

-Formerly known as “King of Jelly“, he had to relinquish the title to DOS. Since then, he enjoy hitting DOS in the head, ribs, and arms. His own version of fight club, First rule being never talk about fight club. DOS learns that the hard way every night.

-Sometimes he need's to be Morgan’s body guard (drum tech) due to severe beatings from DOS."

-The band called him "Vik" but to everyone else he was "Nik"

-He drinks Rye and Coke

-Nik's Birthday is May 9th, 1975
-Ryan "Nik" Vikedal joined Nickelback in 1998 and was fired from the group in January of 2005.
There have been 3 drummers in Nickelback. Brandon Kroeger was the first, Mitch Guindon was the second, then *Ryan Vikedal*. Mike stated in an interview that it is false that Nickelback has had 8 drummers.

-He is the longest serving drummer of Nickelback's history, He is sponsored by Ayotte drums, one of Canada's finest individual drum makers, and uses Zildjian cymbals.

-Ryan was active with Nickelback from 1996-2005 Ryan stands to be the longest surviving drummer with Nickelback (9 years)

-Ryan also made the cover of Drum Magazine the 2002 edition
